Our Restaurant

Husband and wife owned, Stosh and Natalie Welniak offer travellers and locals an experience in Canadian BBQ.

Currently working their 9th season, Busters keeps getting bigger and better.

We’ve recently made close friends with the Dryden Cloverbelt Food Co-op and hope to dive into the farm to table movement this summer.  These local farmers work hard to provide local produce, products and we intend to help them sustain all their hard work.

A few new things have come onto the menu this year.  Busters is taking their Reuben to the next level by in-house corning and smoking the pork shoulders.  Busters Kraut and Homemade Pickles will also up the ante and keep us on our fermentation game.

We’ve also added a Slow-Braised Boneless Beef Rib to our Sandwich and Entree menu.  This is a recipe we’ve been trying to nail down for years and we finally perfected it over the winter.

Also check out our Pound BBQ Bakers topped with Pulled Pork and Bacon and topped with Cheese and Gravy.

Our History

RestaurantThe original Busters restaurant was built back in the 80’s. It passed several owners over the years until 1994 when Kevin and Karen Welniak purchased it. Busters Family Restaurant was one of the premier restaurants in the area attracting tourists and locals with their mouthwatering barbecue and famous lumberjack portions. Karen and Kevin ran Busters until 2000 when they decided to follow the family history in the tourist camp business. As the years passed and after several new owners the restaurant finally closed.
