Baby Kale and Spinach are the base for this salad and it was surprising how the greens kept their tenderness.

Nat is also going through a weird bread salad phase, so the rye bread on the counter was calling out to be made into croutons.

Bacon from breakfast and the dressing;

This is a more traditional take on caesar but minus the cheese.

Using a four cup measuring cup, add 1/3 any oil you have that you enjoy the taste of.  I used grapeseed and canola mixed for the batch below but only because it’s what I had on my stove top.  Couple Tbsp’s Dijon Mustard, Lemon Juice and Worcestershire Sauce.  I microplaned about 4 Cloves of Garlic, Salt and Pepper to taste.

Delicious, even Stosh liked it.  I think even the kids had some, but maybe I’m daydreaming.  We’re definitely dreaming about the next time I get to eat this salad.
